I am Zofia. I am 20 years old. I like to be called Lady Zap. I am an autistic entrepreneur and also with Down syndrome. I am the visionary behind, MySensoryArt.com, which sells handcrafted Sensory Wands I design to help people with stress and anxiety. I co-host a YouTube Channel, Zofia’s Sensory Spin, with my sister, Jemma, that unboxes toys and other products featuring a wide array of sensory elements that appeal to people, like me, who are sensory-seekers. I am a self-advocate and I was invited by United Theological Seminary’s Certificate in Disability Ministry program in Ohio as a paid public speaker during Down syndrome awareness month to share more about why I am awesome. My friend, Shawn Smith says, ‘No one ever said that being awesome would be easy!’ I also love acting and I am excited to portray Little Red in Exceptional Theater Company’s production of Once in a Lifetime later this year. I am an artist and my painting, elefante, was chosen by Additional Needs Inc. as their NEW Featured Artist of 2023. I love being able to continue inspiring people to #ShareHappy through my gifts and talents.
