This piece is a collaboration that shows how we can all came together and create individual pieces and then combine to make something greater! We started by using the colors of nature as our inspiration and each student painted their own cardboard disc from a recycled pizza box. We emphasized the importance of reducing the impact of garbage on our planet and reusing and repurposing items to create something new. Then we combined out art to make a beautiful Eric Carle inspired caterpillar! My class has a real “appetite” for art!
